Q

C150 Vso

A

Stalling speed or the minimum steady flight speed at wich the airplane is controlable in the landing configuration at the most forward center of gravity.

18
Q

Green arc

A

Normal operating range : Lower limit is maximum weight Vs at most forward CG without flaps. Upper limit is maximum cruising speed (Vno)

19
Q

Yellow arc

A

Operations must be conducted with caution and only in smooth air. Vno is the lower limit of yellow arc, and Vne is the upper limit.

33
Q

C150 MTOW

A

1600 lbs = 727 kg.

34
Q

C150 battery voltage

A

12 V.

35
Q

C150 alt. voltage.

A

14V.

36
Q

C150 fuel system

A

2 tanks in the wings, feeding by gravity, no fuel pump,

Consumption 20L/h, 10% security = 22L/h.

37
Q

C150 vacuum driven instruments :

A

ATTITUDE INDICATOR and DIRECTIONAL GYRO.

38
Q

C150 gyroscopic instruments :

A

DG, AI and turn and bank indicator. NB turn and bank is electricaly driven and remains operative in case of vacuum pump failure.

39
Q

C150 Landing w/o elevator control procedure.

A

Trim for horizontal flight at 55 KIAS and with flaps 20°
Maintain the trim setting
Control glide angle with power only
At flare out, trim to full nose up position.
Close throttle at touchdown.

40
Q

C150 Alternator check :

A

During runup (1700 RPM) if the circuit is loaded with use of flaps motor for exemple, the ammeter must remain within a needle width of its initial position.

41
Q

C150 Stall warning

A

Occurs 5 to 10 knots before the actual stall speed is reached.

42
Q

Dead cut check

A

If magneto check fail, try to kill the engine with ignition switch, not mixture. If the engine keeps on running, at least one magneto is not grounded ! Place board to warn about “live propeller” !
