Never exceed speed
C150 Vno
107 KIAS
Maximum structural Cruising speed. Do not exceed this speed except in smooth air and with caution. Vno is the upper end of green arc.
C150 Va
97 KIAS at MTOW (1600 lbs)
Manoeuvring speed : Do not make full or abrupt control movements above this speed.
C150 Vfe
85 KIAS
Do not exceed this speed with flaps down.
C150 PANEL
CLIMB TO 2.500 ft QNH
ON DOWNWIND, ABEAM SIERRA 4 : prendre un repère (hangar,…)
ABOVE SIERRA 4 : CARBU HOT + IDLE
CORRECT ATTITUDE -> 70 Knots -> TRIM
-> TURN IMMEDIATELY TO DOWNWIND, ADJUNSTING LENGHT OF DOWNWIND AND BASE ACCORDING TO WIND.
ANGLE DOWNWIND -> BASE : 90° or 2x45°
ANGLE BASE -> FINAL : 90° or 2x45°, !!! PAS D’ANGLE AIGU !!!
FLAPS : AT DISCRETION
LAND AT SIERRA 4
!!! TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE WIND !!!
White arc.
Full flap operating range. Lower limit is Vso in landing configuration ; Upper limit is Vfe.
C150 Vso
Stalling speed or the minimum steady flight speed at wich the airplane is controlable in the landing configuration at the most forward center of gravity.
Green arc
Normal operating range : Lower limit is maximum weight Vs at most forward CG without flaps. Upper limit is maximum cruising speed (Vno)
Yellow arc
Operations must be conducted with caution and only in smooth air. Vno is the lower limit of yellow arc, and Vne is the upper limit.
Red line
Vne.

C150 MTOW
1600 lbs = 727 kg.
C150 battery voltage
12 V.
C150 alt. voltage.
14V.
C150 fuel system
2 tanks in the wings, feeding by gravity, no fuel pump,
Consumption 20L/h, 10% security = 22L/h.
C150 vacuum driven instruments :
ATTITUDE INDICATOR and DIRECTIONAL GYRO.
C150 gyroscopic instruments :
DG, AI and turn and bank indicator. NB turn and bank is electricaly driven and remains operative in case of vacuum pump failure.
C150 Landing w/o elevator control procedure.
Trim for horizontal flight at 55 KIAS and with flaps 20°
Maintain the trim setting
Control glide angle with power only
At flare out, trim to full nose up position.
Close throttle at touchdown.
C150 Alternator check :
During runup (1700 RPM) if the circuit is loaded with use of flaps motor for exemple, the ammeter must remain within a needle width of its initial position.
C150 Stall warning
Occurs 5 to 10 knots before the actual stall speed is reached.
Dead cut check
If magneto check fail, try to kill the engine with ignition switch, not mixture. If the engine keeps on running, at least one magneto is not grounded ! Place board to warn about “live propeller” !
