Highlight at the very beginning ‘what are you showing?’. Before going into 10 min long detail data explanation
Speak in three sentences and take a pause
Be very gentle when you ask someone to give a min to finish your thought
Understand what this person is getting from your content? What would be their reaction? How does it apply to their world? Why should they care?
Do I need their support?
Do not cut people off. If you do apologize right away

So he thinks he is so much better than me because he is one grade up and way more capable than me as a business leader
Basically when you seek favor from person in higher position, you have to make them feel they are far more superior than you and you are beneath them.
If you act like an equal to people ahead of you, they will automatically hate you and sabotage you (psychological). You have to play the role. Play the game. Fan their ego
Never make anyone feel like you think they are your equal
I will have to win over James, Dale, Edgar
If you can’t see the people through their schemes and if are unconscious
You will get played:
People will trick you, fool you, take advantage of your simpleness
