Project Safe Place

As soon as it becomes apparent that Project Safe Place services will be needed, the receiving company will go out of service until the youth is in the care of Project Safe Space or other DCFD personnel. Always leave at least 2 members with the youth.
The OIC is responsible and will notify their hotline at (202)547-7777.
BFC will be made aware.

Question 2

EEO

Answer 2

Employees alleging discrimination must contact the EEO counselor within 180 days of the alleged infraction.
The EEO counselor will attempt to seek an informal resolution. If one is not reached, the employee may file formal charges with the Office of Human Rights within 15 days of the final interview* with the EEO counselor.

The final interview will be conducted not later than 21 days after the date on which the matter has been called to the attention of the EEO counselor.

Who can initiate a CIPM (Critical Incident Personnel Management) team response?

Answer 3

1) BMT, OIC, or any officer on scene of an incident or situation.
2) Any CIPM team member aware of a situation that may benefit
3) Any employee directly or through their supervisor.
