Clinical presentation
A
Diabetics of any age
- no known relationship between bullae development and glycemic control
- usually get crops of bullae on lower legs and feet that develop overnight
- asymptomatic
- bullae rupture in a week but take months to heal fully

Histology
A
intra or subepidermal bullae with minimal inflammation. No abnormalities on DIF

Treatment
A
Can compress ulcers with tepid aline solution but generally resolves on its own
