Appoint Inspector
Lodge Initial Notice with the Local Authority
Approved Inspector will assess the information and inspect during the process and will issue a Final Certificate

What is the process using LABC?
A
Plans submitted and plans certificate obtained
Inspections during construction
Apply for a building regs certificate on completion

Who has the power of enforcement for Building Regs?
A
LABC have the power of enforcement. Approved Inspectors don’t have enforcement powers. In the event an approved imspector needs to use enforcement they will need to hand over to LABC.
