Who was Albert Blanton?

A

Blanton joined George T Stagg (became Buffalo Trace) Distillery in 1897 as office boy. Became president in 1921. During prohibition, Blanton secured one of the six medicinal licenses for George T Stagg. Retired in 1943.

Who was E.H. Taylor?

A

Edmund H. Taylor was a St Louis banker who is considered the “Father of modern bourbon industry” owned distillery (BT) which he called “OFC” from 1870 when he installed modern equipment and began selling whiskey nation-wide. He sold distillery to George T Staff in 1879He was instrumental in the passing of the Bottled-In-Bond Act in 1897.
