A
it is a disruption to one side of the spinal cord
consequences are:
ipsilateral loss of the vibration and light touch - decussation is in the medullar
ipsilateral loss of corticospinal tract ie paresis - because decussation is in medulla
contralateral loss of spinolathalic sensation ie pain and temp - decussation in the spinal cord at/near point of entry
at point of lesion - flaccid paralysis - lmn affected
below lesion - spastic paralysis - umn affected
