What is broad complex tachycardia?
A
ECG shows rate of >100 and QRS >120 ms. If there are no clear QRS complexes, it is VF or asystole.

Give examples of arrythmias that cause broad complex tachycardias
A
- Ventricular fibrillation
- Ventricular tachycardia
- Torsade de pointes (polymorphic VT)
- Any causes of narrow complex tachycardias when combined with bundle branch block or metabolic causes of broad QRS
- Antidromic AVRT
