A
  • Bruce lived through the 60s as a teenager (born in 1945 as baby boomer) so these times were very impressionable on him
  • In late 1950s there was a huge rise in personal and corporate affluence
  • 1960s consisted of a whole generation of young people who lived at home and had money, so were able to live life to the full and enjoy each day as it came
  • Widespread introduction of TVs and vinals, so music became more of a big thing
  • Cliche of cultural revolution, such as the shorter the skirt, the more free the women were
  • introduction of the birth control pill so people were more free and there was a sexual revolution
  • social dance such as Lindy hop, jitterbug, jive, rock and roll, twist
