• we will both time the starts
• how we will communicate with the lineman (hand signals or interphone)
• if we have an emergency, we will contact ground with side number and parking spot
• handle all malfunctions in accordance with NATOPS

Before taxi brief

• how we will get to the runway
• anything crazy in notams
• brief normal problems like gse and other aircrafts
• keep me clear on the right at all times

Before takeoff brief

-read EFIS panel, then MCP
Baro, fpv, alt, map mode, terr, course, hdg, f/d,
-brief takeoff from MCDU; speeds, flaps, runway, power setting, gw
-malfunctions (if we have a malfunction prior to 80kts, we will abort the takeoff, if we have a malfunction between 80 and V1, we will abort for engine failure, smoke in the flight station, any fire, or the aircraft is unable or unsafe to fly. If we have a malfunction after V1, we will take the plane flying, and handle the malfunction IAW natops and climb to acceleration height)
-brief immediate landing, single engine landing distance, msa, and any extras.
