Q

E2 positive breast cancer treatment in pre vs post menopausal women.

A

Tamoxifen is the first-line option for managing breast cancer in premenopausal women, but not in postmenopausal women. The first-line option for postmenopausal women is aromatase inhibitors which decrease the peripheral synthesis of oestrogen.
