What does the cerebral cortex do
A
Outer layer of neural tissue, responsible for consciousness, memory, intelligence and language

A
Responsible for muscle coordination and movement. Starry ball thing at the back on a diagram.

What does the Spinal cord do
A
part of the CNS

What does the Medulla do
A
Controls unconscious activities such as breathing and heart rate. The thing coming out the bottom that’s closer to the front than Spinal cord

What does the Pituitary gland do
A
The ‘Master Gland’ responsible for regulating many body functions, controlling the activity of other glands.
