2
Q

vertebral artery pathway

A

Starts as a branch off the subclavian and travels through the transverse foramina of C1-C6. It then goes through the foramen magnum where the right and left branch combine to form the basilar artery which then joins the cerebral arterial circle

3
Q

internal carotid artery pathway

A

Starts as a branch from the common carotid then enters the carotid canal. It gives off many branches like the Opthalamic art, Post communicating art, Middle cerebral art, and Ant cerebral art (OPMA)
