Uroxatral ®
Class: Uroselective alpha-blocker
Common SE: dizziness, fatigue, HA, URI
DI: CI with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors
Silodosin
Rapaflo ®
Class: Uroselective alpha-blocker
Common SE: retrograde ejaculation, dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, diarrhea, nasal congestion
DI: CI with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors. Not recommended with p-gp inhibitors (cyclosporine)
Tamsulosin
Flomax ®
Class: Uroselective alpha-blocker
Common SE: dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, HA, rhinitis, abnormal ejaculation
DI: CI with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors. Caution with CYP2D6 inhibitors (cimetidine)
Dutasteride
Avodart ®
Class: 5-alpha Reductase Inhibitor
Common SE: ED, ↓ libido, ejaculation disorders, gynecomastia
DI: Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors will ↑ concentrations
Finasteride
Proscar ®
Class: 5-alpha Reductase Inhibitor
Common SE: ED, ↓ libido, ejaculation disorders, gynecomastia
DI: None!!!
Tadalafil
Cialis ®
Class: PDE-5 Inhibitor
Administered po once daily for BPH indication
