- Epstein found masculinjity in w/c is very opposing to school values. E,g w/c boys more likely to be called gay if they study a lot.
-Francis, talks about this and how w/c boys are more concerned in being labelled as faminine and so become laddish and reject schoolwork as its ‘feminine’ and goes against w/c culture of being tough.

- Sewell argues that boysr falling behind due to feminism.
He says school doesnt nurture masculine traits such as competitiveness and leadership and instead celebrate traits from girls . - Sewell sees cousework as a main reason to gender gap and it should be replaced with final exams
