Material deprivation
The effects that a loss of attachment has on a child
Deprivation
Love and lost
Occurs when the attachment bond is formed but broken later on in life
Privation
Never to have loved or been loved at all
Occurs when child does not form any attachment at all
Separation versus deprivation
Separation - child not with caregiver only issue if they deprived which can cause harm to the child

Due to the issue with the formation of the IWM
