What is breathing?
A
This is a mechanical action of muscles allowing air into the lungs and allow air out of the lungs. The muscles involved are the diaphragm, intercostal muscles.

What is Gaseous Exchange?
A
The process where oxygen in the air is exchanged with carbon dioxide in the blood. Happens inside lungs, between the pockets inside the lungs and bloodstream.

What is Respiration?
A
This the process where oxygen is used to breakdown glucose inside the cell. This process produces the necessary energy in the form of ATP.
