THE PARKING BRAKES ARE SET BY DEPRESSING THE TOE PEDALS AND PULLING THE T-HANDLE , LOCATED ON THE PILOTS INSTRUMENT PANEL. THIS LOCKS THE BRAKE CONTROL VALVES INTHE OPEN POSITION. THE BRAKE ACCUMULATOR WILL KEEP THE BRAKES CHARGED WITHOUT RECHARGING FOR 8 HOURS.

PROVIDED IN THE NORMAL AND ALTERNATE BRAKE SYSTEM. THE NORMAL BRAKE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PROVIDES EACH MAIN GEAR WITH INDIVIDUAL ANTISKID PROTECTION. WHEN THE SYTEM DETECTS A SKID, THE ASSOCIATED ANTI SKID VALVE REDUCES BRAKE PRESSURE UNTIL SKIDDING STOPS.
