This system takes in oxygen and passes it to the blood. Also releases carbon dioxide from the blood to the outside of the body.
Respiratory system
This system transports nutrients, oxygen, and water to cells and moves wastes away from cells.
Circulatory system
This system breaks down food into smaller nutrients and allows it to be absorbed into the blood for delivery to cells.
Digestive system
This system allows for locomotion (movement).
Muscular
This system removes wastes from the blood and excretes it as urine.
Excretory
The system that controls body functions and senses. Allows for the body to sense and respond to changes in the environment (stimuli).
Nervous system
The system that regulates body functions with hormones. The glands of the body produce those hormones.
