Why can men have kids at an old age, while women cannot?
Menopause, mutations (because the eggs stop in the middle of dividing)
Unlike women, who are born with a finite number of eggs, men continue to produce sperm throughout their lives, and some can father children into their 60s and beyond — an age where women’s clocks have totally stopped ticking. Menopause usually happens around age 45 to 55. During that time, women stop having their periods and are no longer fertile.
Why do you get scarring from a second-degree but not a first-degree burn?
First-degree burns usually don’t get infected or leave a scar. The skin may get red but won’t break, and they heal within 3–5 days. Second-degree burns are also called partial-thickness burns—this type of burn damages the epidermis and the dermis (the second layer of skin). For a first-degree burn, which it only affects the epidermis, the stem cells can regenerate the skin quickly, but when the second-degree happens, it affects the dermis, and the stem cells also get affected.
Why is it more likely to develop colorectal cancer if you use the bathroom every 3 days vs 1 day?
The stool becomes dry due to water loss after 3 days causing damage, the stool is full of toxins that sit in your body.
If you stop eating meat, what are the possible consequences and why?
You miss essential amino acids that are not directly produced by your body, such as the 9 amino acids: threonine, methionine, lysine, valine,, leucine, isoleucine, histidine, phenylalanine, and tryptophan. These AA are only found in meat, and they need to be supplied from there.
