- be a licensee within the board of pharmacy
- have any ownership of a pharmacy
Executive Secretary
Appointed by the Board of Reagents
must be:
- pharmacist licensed in NYS for at least 5 years
- NOT part of the board
duties are decided by the Board of Reagents
What government org/department is the BOP under?
BOP falls under the Board of Reagents
BOR oversees licensing requirements for all professions in the state
Who chairs the board?
BOP elects a chairman & vice-chairman annually
How are board members elected?
Members are appointed by BOR based on recommendation of the commissioner

No regulation
