What is the dosage for amoxicillin?

A

Beta lactamase

500-875 mg po q 12 hour

Cannot give two 250 doses because it causes clavulunic acid overdose.

A

125 mg CA to the 500-875 mg Amoxicillin dose.

Overdose leads to severe diahrrea.

A

Ampicillin with sulbactam.
Does not cover Pseudomonas!
