Ascending aorta, aortic arch, descending thoracic aorta, abdominal aorta.
What are the two divisions of the abdominal aorta?
Common iliac artery
What are the two divisions of the common iliac artery?
External and internal iliac artery
What arteries branch off of the internal iliac artery?
Obturator, superior and inferior gluteal aa.
What vessels arise from the external iliac artery?
Femoral artery, deep femoral artery, popliteal artery, anterior tibial artery, posterior tibial artery, fibular artery
When does the femoral artery become the popliteal artery?
After the adductor hiatus
When does the external iliac artery become the femoral artery?
Under the inguinal ligament
When does the anterior tibial artery become the dorsalis pedis artery?
After the ankle joint
What arteries branch off of the posterior tibial artery?
Lateral and medial plantar, and fibular aa.
What two veins originate on the dorsum of the foot?
Greater and lesser saphenous veins
What vein does the greater saphenous vein open into?
Femoral vein
What vein does the lesser saphenous open into?
Popliteal vein
