Explain the mechanism of action of angiotensin converting enzyme ( ace ) inhibitors

A

Antagonising angiotensin converting enzyme.
Prevents conversion of angiotensin 1 to angiotensin 2 which is a vasoconstrictor. Blocking this causes results in vasodilation.
