- diseases: Hepatitis, cancer, Chagas, babesiosis
What has CBS implement to accommodate donor who have been indefinitely deferred from donating due to a false positive test result?
Re-entry program : Donor waits 6 month post false positive test, Donor is re tested given they have an approval letter by the medical director.
If the test is negative they can donate again, if it is positive then donor is permanently deferred.
