plasma is a yellow liquid that transports carbon dioxide, take nutrients, hormones, and proteins to the parts of the body that need it.

red blood cells carry oxygen around the body. to help them do this they have no nucleus to make more space to carry haemoglobin and have a biconcave shape to flow smoothly

white blood cells fight infections from pathologens and stop disease. they produce antibodies, engulf harmful bacteria and produce antitoxins.
