A

Examples

  • Large-scale drawings of the steel connections. A structural engineer must review the large-scale drawings of steel connections to confirm that they meet the design and engineering calculations.
  • Doors and frames. The architect must review the door submittal to confirm that the doors are the correct size, type, and swing and that all hardware matches the specifications laid out in the door schedule. Submitted doors must meet design intent. Approval must be received before the contractor can proceed with the work.
