What is a high Solar Heat Gain Coefficient?
A
It means that almost as much solar heat gain is passing through the window as would happen to a measly 1/8” glass plate.
- 7-0.9 is considered high.
- 2.-0.4 is considered low.

How much heat does a person emit?
A
500 BTU/hr (250 Latent, 250 Sensible)
Obviously higher if active, lower if inactive.

A
