Hypomanic episode lasts 4 days
Difference between mania and hypomania?
Hypomania only lasts 4 days with less severe symptoms. Once get psychotic features, becomes manic
(Manic episode lasts one week with 3 or 4 symptoms)
How long is depressive episode?
2 weeks with 5 symptoms
Comorbid with Anxiety, ADHD, Alcohol/substance abuse and metabolic syndrome?

What constitutes Bipolar I?
Manic episode with no explanation
Usually see depression and hypomania too

Hypomania and depressive episode
Depressive usually comes first
(Hypomanic episodes last 4 days)
