dogs and cats 4 months or older must be inoculated for rabies, and then every year thereafter, maybe only be done by licensed veterinarians

vaccine requirements, bite quarantine, health certificate for interstate travel, no wild animal vaccination, and rabies exposure requirements
Unvaccinated Animal Exposed to Rabies
EUTHANASIA but can also be immediately vaccinated and confined for six months

revaccinate and confine for 30 days
Why do we only do a 10 day bite quarantine?
if an animal survives 10 days with no signs of rabies, it could not have had rabies in its saliva at the time of the bite
