Q

Inertia?

A

The tendency of an object to resist change in its state of motion. The greater the inertia of an object the more difficult it is to move. Inertia is related to mass

Q

What is newtons second law of motion?

A

The rate of acceleration of a body is proportional to the force applied to it in the direction in which the force is applied
Force = mass x acceleration F=Ma (N)

e.g. pushing off the wall in swimming
