Malaria
it’s the result of a single cell parasite called a protist. it has a complicated lifecycle part of which is spends in humans and part in female anopheles mosquitoes different phases of the lifecycle are adapted to living in different parts of the mosquito or human. The protist produce sexually in the mosquito and sexually in the humans. The mosquito carries the parasite which means it’s a vector of the disease before she can lay eggs the female mosquito needs meals of human blood it’s at the stage the protists are passed into human blood. These protists then get carried around the body in the circulation system. They first infect the liver and then red blood cells. When they destroy the red blood cells by bursting out of them it causes symptoms of shaking and fever. Over time it can weaken those infected and if the diseases is not treated can become fatal.
