They are a type of white blood cell that play a crucial role in the immune response , which is the first line of defence.

They are a subset with esophills and basophils , together protecting the body.
where are Neutrophils produced ?
They are produced in the Bone marrow.
what roles do Neutrophils have ?
Neutrophils capture and destroy by invading bacteria or microorganisms by setting traps and ingesting them through your body.
Neutrophils will start the tissue repair process.
where are Neutrophils located ?
They are formed in your bone marrow and travel throughout your body into the bloodstream and lymph nodes.
what do neutrophils look like ?
They are clear in colour , They are a sphere like shape at first then changes shape to fight infection.
How many neutrophils are there in the body ?
They are most common type of white blood cells.
Anywhere from 50% to 80 %.
