What is the endocrine system?
The collection of glands that secrete hormones directly into the circulatory system

Pancreas

Thyroid gland
What does the thyroid gland do?
Secretes thyroid glands which influence the metabolic rate and protein synthesis
What do the testes do?
To produce sperm and testosterone
Define the word hormone
A regulatory substance produced in an organism and transported in tissue fluids
Describe how a hormone travels around the body
They travel either in the looks stream or the fluid around cells
Name the hormone that helps control blood glucose levels
Insulin from the pancreas
Name the gland that produces the hormone adrenaline
The adrenal gland
