Q

What is everything is everywhere?

A

Homogenized communities, because microbes :

  • Are small and easily transported
  • Have the ability to form resistant physiological stage that allows them to survive in hostile environments
  • Rapid growth rates, high taxon abundances, rapid evolutionary adaptation
