when their is insufficient oxygen for aerobic respiration to take place
What’s the consequences of lactic acid build up?
Cause muscles to contract less efficiently and with less force
What’s oxygen debt?
The breakdown of lactic acid is an oxidation reaction
Lactic acid + oxygen -> Carbon dioxide + water

the sum of all the chemical reaction take place in your body

the rate at which the chemical reactions take place
