Fees need to be transparent and the client needs to be aware of the cost PRIOR to the service being provided.
-clearly posted in the service reception area and online
-needs to be visible
It is up to the Kin to inform the client prior of the total fee for the service
Any marketing must be clear and show the entire cost upfront.
Service offerings cannot be tied to the purchase of another service.
Clients need to be aware they can buy any recommended products elsewhere and are not required to purchase them from the clinical space.
Billing transparency also needs to include any fees for penalties for late/missed apporinments.

What needs to be on an invoice/itemized billing?

Answer 2

Describe the service provided.
Who provided the service.
Date of service.
Cost of service.
Form of payment (and if payment was completed).

Question 3

What can you not do with billing as a kinesiologist?

Answer 3

Cannot offer a discount of bills paid immediately.
However, a kin can charge interest on an overdue bill.
