The idea of interpreting convention rights would stay, and give the courts more powers. This would include having the power to ignore any legislation that isn’t convention comptible. This would curb the power of the executive, but would weaken parliamnetary sovereignty.

A bill of right would mean that public authorities would have much more powers, so they can do what is ‘necessary’ for their job, so the fear of being sued will disappear. This could lead to issues surrounding minority groups that can arguably be seen to be targeted by authorities such as the police.
