Protects freedom of speech, religion, freedom of press, assembly, and addressing the government

Intentional injury to someones reputation

The right to bear arms

What does the third amendment protect?
Prevents citizens from having to house troops
What does the fourth amendment protect?
That police must have a probable cause or a warrant signed by a judge indicating where and what they are looking for

It provides law for search and seizure requirements gov agents must follow

The right to a grand jury prevents double jeopardy, self incrimination, due process, and property seizure and eminent domain

People who lsiten to a case and decide if it hould be tried
What is double jeopardy?
Cant b harge two times for same crime

Right to a speedy trial, right to an unbiased jury, right of being able to confront the accuser, and right to a lawyer

Hat people are guaranteed trial by jury in civil cases
What is the eighth amendment protect
Ensures that te punishment must fit the crime, protects against creul and unusual punishment
What does the ninth amendment protect?
That people are guaranteed rights beyond those listed in the bill of rights
What does the tenth amendment protect
Any power not granted to the federal gov belongs to the states
