words change meaning over time, so the scribes wanted the people to know the correct meaning
why would scribes intentionally change the name of a place in the Bible?( our example was the change of the airport’s name )
So future generations would know what place the author as referring to. if a town /place was no longer called by its old name that changed it to the new name
