4 OT Prophecy General Principles/Observation:
- God is able to predict near & distant future events (Deut. 18:22)
- The purpose of prophecy is not only to satisfy curiosity but to establish faith in God (Isa. 46:10)
- There are two major different prophetic genre: Apocalyptic (Daniel) & Classical (The rest)
- There are several different predictive forms in OT Prophecy:

- Spoken Oracle (Jer. 1:4)- Ang Ginoo mismo nagsulti
- Acted Prophecy - action instead of isturya, example sa life of Hosea (Hos. 1:4)

3 Different Categories of Prophecy Outside Daniel
- Messianic Prophecy
-Prophecy about the Messiah (1st coming of Jesus)
-Birth, Ministry, Suffering, Death of Messiah/Jesus.
-Example Isa. 53 (famous Messianic Prophecy) - Oracle against foreign nations
-God has men; Israel (enemy: macedonians, babylonians, Assyrians, etc.)
-Prophecy against nation - Covenant-centered kingdom prophecy
-Prophecy that God will establish His eternal Kingdom.

-Basis: Spoken Oracle
-Conditional (Depending on Human Response)
-Dual-fulfillment

-Focus: Universal
-Composite Symbolism (Dili dali masabtan)
-Basis: Visions & Dreams
-Unconditional/Determined
