when AI interacts with world e.g. Netflix account, Spotify
Sample bias
when data chosen to build algorithm does not represent space which model will operate, thus the algorithm spits out specific data that is not representative of world itself

(uses previous crime data to prepare where future crimes will occur). Created a feedback loop (data in one tested area produces data so is repeatedly surveyed, ignoring other areas

search engine returning photos of African Americans when prompted to return photos of gorillas
