In 1964, what really pulled the United States into Vietnam. Apparently the USS Mattox was parked by North Vietnam , allegedly they shot torpedoes at the Mattox but the us later retracted that idea

Passed by LBJ that’s said that the President had the power to send any amount of troops he wanted to Vietnam .

People that weren’t in support of the war .

The turning point in the war in 1968. But a turning point for the negative . The Vietcong attacked every single major base at the same time.

In 1968 , he eventually ends the war but escalates it first.
What was Watergate ?
The democratic national Headquarters that was broken into by spies.

The people that linked the burglars from watergate back to the president .

Withdrawal of US troops.
What was the My Lai massacre ?
Lieutantany Calley Jr. Was searching for Vietcong rebels in a small village but didn’t find any so he told his men to shoot anything and everything that breathed .
