explain aversion therapy
Keeping animals away from a object or area by providing an unpleasant experience in those areas.
explain extinction therapy
completely remove a reinforcement or behavior ( if dog begs, stop feeding food at the table)
explain avoidance therapy
stopping an animal from an undesired behavior by use of a negative reinforcement to diminish the problem behavior ( shock collar)
puppy sensitive period
4-14 weeks old
kitten sensitive period
2-8 weeks old
conflict related aggression
inconsistent or unpredictable environment (resource guarding falls under this aggression)
habituation behavior treatment technique
