Appointment
Definition: A time you arrange to meet someone, like a doctor.
Example: “I have a doctor’s appointment at 10 o’clock.”
Headache
Definition: Pain in your head.
Example: “I have a headache, so I need to rest.”
Breathe
Definition: To take air in and out of your lungs.
Example: “It’s hard to breathe when I run”
Cough
Definition: To push air out of your throat with a loud sound.
Example: “She has a bad cough and needs to see a doctor.”
Cold
Definition: 1) A common illness that makes you cough, sneeze, and have a runny nose.
2) of or at a low temperature; the opposite of hot.
Example: “He stayed home because he has a cold.” “It is cold in January.”
Medicine
Definition: Something you take when you are sick to help you feel better.
Example: “The doctor gave me medicine for my cough.”
Stomach
Definition: The part of your body where food goes after you eat.
Example: “My stomach hurts because I ate too much.”
Closet
Definition: A small room or space for keeping clothes.
Example: “I hang my clothes in the closet.”
Gas station
Definition: A place where you can buy fuel for your car.
Example: “We stopped at the gas station to fill the car with fuel.”
Police station
Definition: A place where the police work.
Example: “If you lose something important, you can report it at the police station.”
