German Style Kolsch

A

Ballast Point California Kolsch
San Diego
5.2% - 23

American breweries have been brewing more and more Kolsch style beers in the last five years. This is due to the exciting challenge and throwing an animal that is closer to logger in style. Ballast point does a great job with this rich, multi but balanced course and we had to add it to the list.

in honor of the 394 batting average Tony Gwynn hit in 1994. This beer was designed to fall between the L Smith extra pale and IPA. Great hop flavor as you’d expect from a San Diego pale, but has lower hot bitterness than you’d expect from the nose. Delicious beer from a great brewery.
