What is the process for an unadapted animal?
You should be starting with 60-80% pasture hay as the mix and every week or 5 days decrease this by 10% and add on cereal grains. This will slowly adapt the rumen to a high grain diet safely.

Trough space, bullying, clean water. adequate roughage/scratch factor, consistency of poo
