GLIDE
(BOTH ENGINES INOPERATIVE)
- Landing Gear & Flaps = UP
- Propeller(s) = *If no airstart is planned, *FEATHERED
!! WARNING !!
Do not feather engine propeller if a windmilling airstart is planned.
Airstart with a windmilling propeller will result in lower starting temperatures. - Airspeed = 135 KIAS

[Sugg.] At first, try ENVIRO LOW (50% of air inflow)
SMOKE AND FUME ELIMINATION
- Oxygen:
a. Oxygen Masks/Headsets = DON
b. Mic Switches = OXYGEN MASK - Mask Selector Switch = EMERG
- Smoke Googles = ON
[L/R BLEED FAIL] annunciator
- Bleed Air Valve Switch (affected eng.) = PNEU/ENVIR OFF
DUAL GENERATOR FAILURE
If at NIGHT :
1. Instrument Emergency Lights = ON
THEN :
2. Generator Switches = RESET / ON
If EITHER resets :
3. Loadmeter = DO NOT EXCEED 100% ON OPERATING GENERATOR (95% FL340 & ABV)
If NONE resets :
3. Non-Essential Equipment = OFF
SINGLE INVERTER FAILURE
- AC Bus C/B’s = CHECK
If C/B TRIPPED :
2. C/B = RESET
If C/B NOT tripped :
3. Failed Inverter = SELECT BUS TRANSFER
DUAL INVERTER FAILURE
- Attitude/Heading Control = USE BACKUP INSTRUMENTS
If AC power necessary for completion of flight :
2. AC Bus C/B’s = RESET (If tripped)
PFD will still fonction (on VDC)
AP/YD inop.
PITCH TRIM RUNAWAY
- Aircraft Attitude = MAINTAIN USING ELEVATOR CONTROL
- A/P / Trim Disconnect = DEPRESS FULLY
* [PITCH TRIM OFF] – ILLUMINATED
UNSCHEDULED RUDDER BOOST ACTIVATION
- A/P / Trim disconnect = DEPRESS & HOLD (FIRST LEVEL)
- Rudder boost = OFF
If condition persists :
3. Rudder Boost C/B = PULL
SPINS
Simultaneously :
1. Control Column = FULL FORWARD
2. Ailerons = NEUTRAL
3. Rudder = APPLY FULL OPPOSITE SPIN DIRECTION
4. Power Levers = REDUCE TO IDLE ON BOTH ENGINES
Then :
4. Rudder = NEUTRALIZE–HOLD UNTIL ROTATION STOP
5. Execute smooth pullout.

- All Occupants = SEATED / SEAT BELTS FASTENED
EMERGENCY DESCENT
