Parietal Ridge

Occipital Bone
Highest point on the top of the head

Area above the parietal ridge

Back of the ear forward and below the parietal ridge

Area between the apex and the back of he parietal ridge
Crown
Area at the back part of the neck and consists of the hair below the occipital bone
Nape
Area behind the line from the from the apex to the back of the ear

One-length haircut, a zero elevation cut
Blunt haircut
Cutting the hair with tension, low-to-medium elevation, or over-direction
Graduated Haircut
Graduated effect done by cutting the hair with elevation
Layered Haircut
Cut at a 180-degree angle. Has shorter layers at the top and increasingly longer layers
