What is the significance of a name in the Bible?
Personal names in the Bible represent one of three things: Character, function, or experience.

When you take truth to the extreme.
What is the difference between the “Being” and the “Persons” of the Godhead?
A being is the complete entity while the persons is the center of consciousness.
What is wrong with Tritheism?
There is an over emphasis on the threeness of God.
What is wrong with Unitarianism?
There is an over emphasis on the oneness of God.
What is the significance of the phrase, “distinguishable but indivisble”?
You can’t divide or separate the Godhead.
How does the relationship of the Persons of the Godhead affect our prayer?
We pray to the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit.
What is the significance of the Name of God?
We can have a better relationship with him and understand his character better.
What is the significance of the “Creative Names” of God?
Shows the relationship of God with creation.
What is the meaning of “Elohim”?
It means mighty, strong, and powerful. It is the plural of majesty.
What is the significance of the “redemptive Names” of God?
The things that God is doing towards us.
What is the meaning of “YHWH/Jehovah”?
It means “I am” or “I will be what I will be” or “I will be all that I’m needed to be.”
What is the significance of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ?
It is the triune name of God. Lord represents the Father, Jesus-the son, and Christ - Holy Spirit.
Why do some people view the Holy Spirit as an “impersonal force”?
Because the word “Spirit” means “breath” or “wind”, giving the thought of an unseen force. The Holy Spirit is also presented in the Bible in an impersonal way: as wind, fire, water, oil, etc. The works of the Holy Spirit also often seem to be secret and impersonal.
How will our view of the nature of the Holy Spirit affect our worship?
If we view the Holy Spirit as an impersonal force, then our worship will be impersonal and hindered.
How will our view of the nature of the Holy Spirit affect our relationship with Him?
If the Holy Spirit is only an impersonal influence, we will tend to try to “use” it while we should want to find out how “He” can use us.
What are the elements of personality attributed to the Holy Spirit?
Mind, will, and emotions.
What is meant by the Holy Spirit performing personal acts?
He strives with men, sends, calls, directs, works, searches, speaks, teaches, reproves, prays and guides.
What is the signficance of the fact that the Holy spirit can be treated personally?
He can be lied to, grieved, resisted, etc.
What is the significance of the the fact that the Holy Spirit is a “spirit”?
Shows that he is a supernatural/invisible being and is not limited to the physical realm.
What is the significance of hte title “the Spirit of Grace”?
The Holy Spirit comes to minister God’s grace to our hearts and to cause us to grow in grace.
What is the significance of the title “the Spirit of Truth”?
He comes to reveal Jesus, who is hte Truth, to us and to lead us into all truth.
What is the significance of the title “the Spirit of Holiness”?
The Holy Spirit comes to make us holy, even as God is holy.
What is the significance of the title “the Spirit of Promise”?
He comes to us as the promised Spirit of God and to fulfill in us and through us all of God’s promises.
What is the significance of the title “the Spirit of Life”?
The Holy Spirit comes to impart the life of God to us.
What is the significance of the title “the Spirit of Adoption”?
He comes to cause us to grow up to full maturity that we may perfectly display God’s character and receive all the privileges of our full inheritance.
Why are angels often misunderstood?
There’s ignorance to what the Bible teaches.
There is unbelief in spiritual things.
Fear of the supernatural.
or Too much attention given to angels.
What evidence do we have for the existence of angels?
Thirty-four of the sixty-six books of the Bibel teach the existence of angel.s The word “angel” is used about 275 times in the Bible.
What is the relationship between the God and angels?
God is over all angels. God created angels and they take orders from Him.
What was the role of Lucifer?
Lucifer was in charge of worshipping God. He was created to dwell eternally in the throne room of heaven, in the presence of God.
Why did that role change?
Lucifer became prideful. He wanted to be like the most high.
